Author Guidelines for Adivasi Journal

Content Focus

  • Relevance: Ensure your content aligns with Adivasi cultures, languages, history, and related topics.
  • Authenticity: We value authentic voices. Share personal experiences, stories, insights, or well-researched content.

Content Types

  • Articles: Craft informative, engaging, and well-structured articles between 800-1500 words.
  • Art and Creativity: Share visual content, such as art, photography, or multimedia that reflects Adivasi themes.


  • Plagiarism: Submissions must be original and not published elsewhere. Properly attribute sources if referencing external content.
  • Citations: Include citations for factual claims and references to external sources.

Style and Formatting

  • Tone: Maintain a respectful and informative tone that upholds the dignity of Adivasi cultures and communities.
  • Structure: Organize your content with headings, subheadings, and bullet points for clarity.
  • Language: Use clear, concise, and accessible language. If using Adivasi languages, provide translations or explanations.

Images and Media

  • Ownership: Only use images and media you own or have the rights to use.
  • Quality: Ensure visuals are of high quality and relevant to the content.


  • Author Bio: Include a brief author bio (100 words) at the end of the content, including your name, credentials, and a link to your website or social media.


  • Email Submission:
    • Format: Submit your content as a Word document or in plain text.

  • Website Dashboard Submission:
    • Use your provided user ID and password to log in to the website dashboard.
    • Navigate to the “Submit Content” section and follow the prompts to upload your content directly.

Review and Edits

  • Editing: Our editorial team may make edits for clarity, grammar, and style while preserving your voice.
  • Feedback: We may provide feedback for revisions, if necessary.

Approval and Publication

  • Notification: You will be notified if your submission is selected for publication.
  • Publication Date: The publication date will be decided by our editorial team.


  • Ownership: You retain ownership of your content. By submitting, you grant Adivasi Journal the right to publish and distribute it on our platform.
